Innovative Engagement Rings – Passerelle & The Bridge of Diamonds
Unique styling concepts – uninterrupted channel set shoulders
Notes on the design
Today we’ve featured quite a new innovative design, to further compliment quite a diverse range of engagement rings, all with shoulder set diamonds. The main difference with the ring design we’ve called Passerelle, is that the diamonds span the entire upper part of the engagement ring. Starting just above half way along the band, 0.30cts of channel set Princess cut diamonds lie in a continued bridge below the central diamond without interruption. The channel edges rise to form the squared claws of the engagement ring setting, with a beautiful fully set effect that is quite diverse from the other shoulder set designs we offer.
The ring was photographed in various positions to provide a better idea of the design. There are also small round brilliant cut diamonds set into each side of the ring. The design is also 100% wedding ring friendly. Contact us for further details on this design and other styles with alternative carat weight offerings.
Total Diamond Weight?
This exact design above is set with 0.40cts G VS1 certified diamond, above 0.30cts of channel set Princess cut diamonds. 0.70cts in total diamond weight.
Passerelle des Arts, is the name we chose to represent this design. The name comes from the Ponts des Arts, or ‘Lover’s Bridge’ in Paris. This has become an iconic proposal landmark, an fitting inspiration for an engagement ring with a ‘bridge’ of diamonds below the setting.
