The Double Halo Engagement Ring – Photo of the Day
In today’s photograph, we decided to include a context shot of a very special ring commission created for one of our clients. This impressive double halo engagement ring was set with 1 carat of round brilliant cut diamonds. Photographed with the original documentation, the image shows the completed ring commission, alongside the supporting documents – GIA certificate and CanadaMark card for the central round brilliant cut diamond. For scale, the central diamond measures 5mm in diameter, secured within a simple four claw setting. The outer diamonds encircle the main diamond which sits slightly proud above the double halo.
You will not find this design on our website at this time. The ring style is a double halo engagement ring – a style which has been popularised in recent years by the Tiffany Soleste engagement ring. The double halo styling results in a increased carat weight, and setting size with greater impact than more traditional or single halo ring designs.
Our client decided upon a fully traceable CanadaMark diamond, with 100% ethical credentials giving him the reassurance of knowing how, and where the diamond had been mined. CanadaMark diamonds are tracked from the mine to the faceted diamond with a unique serial number. Our CanadaMark diamonds are also supported by GIA certification with an excellent cut grade.
Additional benefits to this specific design included a wedding ring friendly setting. This small consideration ensures a beautiful fit alongside a straight wedding band.
